This handsome sculpture in Brazilian hardwood is a faithful likeness of the renowned Zebu.-type of Brahman cattle found in both North and South America, following its breed’s importation from India in the late 19th century.

Known for their large, pendulous ears, this fine-looking beast’s only flaw is a neat repair to his front right leg, which looks to have been done en period.
