Australian Feral Donkey Skull

This ageing skull specimen comprises of complete upper and lower jaw sections, with all its teeth remaining intact, and exhibits beautifully textured patination, enhanced by its clear skull sutures.

The feral donkey population of Western Australia has long been declared a pest, due to the large numbers of them roaming wild and damaging the natural habitat.  Therefore it is likely that this example was part of a officially-controlled cull.
