A stunning piece of luxury luggage, designed and handmade by Roland Lane as a production sample for Ralph Lauren, who subsequently ordered a number of them for sale in his key European flagship stores.  Hence, this unique example remains unbranded, unused and unblemished.

This exquisitely detailed case is covered with vintage brown crocodile skin, with a contrasting lining of beige suede.  The compartment covers, pen holders, lid retention straps and lid pocket are also covered in matching crocodile skin, and the letter-opener knife was hand-carved by Roland from a selected piece of Turkish walnut.

The lock is fully functional but lacks its original key.
